Blogging live! I am sitting at a corner table at a cafe directly in front of the gate to the Palais de la cite...within which is housed la Sainte Chappelle. We went there together, and then Frank walked down the street to Notre Dame where he will climb the 400 steps up the tower to get the gargoyle's view of the city. I walked through the flower market and then found the perfect table here, in the corner facing the gate where we are to meet up in 40 minutes. C'est parfait. It's brisk and windy today, so the ceiling to floor windows are closed - they open like bifold doors on warm days to allow a sidewalk cafe.
I am perfectly content here. I did my Bible study, some journaling, and now found free WI-fi too! Alas when I see Frank we need to move on - to le Musee D'Orsay. But I am thoroughly enjoying an hour here with cafe americaine au lait, and une tarte de pomme. (apple tart)
Frank took the camera, so no photos...sigh.
All for now. A bientot, g
